Re: WINTER PRESSURE AHEAD

The Winter Pressure Period is upon us with the first reported cases of Flu symptoms on our desk already.

These have exclusively been in areas where “we didn’t want to get Tyson vaccinated as I was on the phone to Tamsin at the time and she knows somebody whose daughter burst into flames after receiving the meningitis –C jab

No doubt we will all be rushing about again like we do every year, so in recognition of this fact some genuine awards are up for grabs.

The Argos Marathon transfer award of an Argos £5:00 gift voucher will go to the attendant of the crew who travels the furthest LAS journey transferring a patient from one NHS facility to another before February 1st 2001.

The Stella Artois Cup, or rather a can, will be awarded to the attendant who swings the most outrageously long “service run” before February 1st 2001.  Claims for either award must be supported by a CAD number where appropriate, all times, initials of the dispatcher & attendant along with the stated mileage for the journey

Submit your entries to: flat_eric_london_ambulance@hotmail.com

Details of the best efforts will be posted here.
