Flat Eric, who was kidnapped from an ambulance at Mayday Hospital on December 28^th 1999, has been released.  A massive police search and bargaining with the kidnappers, some of their demands being met, failed to return Croydon’s yellow cuddly hero

In a surprise development, on Sunday May 7th Eric was dumped, blindfolded, at M2 where he is now recovering with friends.  For legal reasons he is making no comment, other than “the sex got boring after a while.
